Money Morning: Hasten Slowly
Good Monday Enthusiasts. We were on a self-imposed silence yesterday for a couple of reasons we would like to elaborate on.
1- Puck Playoff’s with their lean toward home teams and favorites were eating us alive. Finally Saturday we hit the Wings in Chi-town (an oasis in the desert) and were so elated to go 1-1 and realize bottom line profit (for the day) that we made the easy decision to watch Sunday’s action to see if we could jinx ourselves into a road team or underdog coming in without us chasing it. In the case of the Sens we did receive the much needed dople OT victory which helps us with our Sens series play. So by passing Sunday we enter this new week with a touch of Puck swag, artificially created perhaps but swag nonetheless.
Gamblou results for round 2 are a dismal 1-4 -107.00 (all round two hypothetical plays have been at a half unit or $50.00).
2- UFC FX was a profitable success. There is nothing like a UFC card to get GambLou headquarters pumped to profit off of Pugilists. We had our eye on this card for weeks initially voicing some intrigue in the kid Rockford. We believe that in the main event there was an unfair advantage in that Belfort was able to compete in an ‘enhanced’ state. Eventually this loophole MUST be removed from the UFC in order to protect the integrity of the results. The integrity of this fights results go into our books as profit but we all know there was an unfair advantage. Hey, we’re handicappers and due diligence is supposed to uncover ‘advantages’ fair or unfair (that is not to say unethical). Remember what Mr. Hyman Roth said in the Godfather 2, “this is the business we have chosen.’ Nuff said.
UFC Results Saturday: 4-2 +$265.00 (based on the standard hypothetical $100.00 per)
UFC to Date: 14-25 +$320.00
3- Saturday we had a big day, we also made some 8 total Gaming plays which can be a week’s worth of wagers for us. We rely on ‘Selectivity’ to contribute directly to our profitability. We also want to make the important point that we make the plays when the situation is in our favor. The last thing we want to do after toiling in these early rounds of Playoff Puck with daily disappointments was dive into Sunday and potentially break momentum….in essence we hastened slowly Sunday. We took the day off, made a great dinner for family watched Hockey, Hoops and did nothing. Good thing too as the road Rangers played like poop and the series play we had on the Sens would have mandated us to watch that contest and hope…..for exactly what we got, a Sens ‘W’.
So in summary Enthusiasts, remember that Profitable Sports Gaming is here for us when we opt for it. There are opportunities every dad gum day! Know one thing and know it to your core Enthusiasts…
We control the Gaming and sometimes delay; hesitation or even taking a day off can work into one’s favor if only you have the discipline to employ it. It takes some experience to utilize this practice but it works and you can make it work for you so never hesitate to “Hasten Slowly.”

The Red Wings are the one squad in round two that have won a game on the road and we have a secret admiration for them as this team is getting better every night they play. Original Six Series’ can be surprising and make no mistake that the Wings believe in themselves now after stealing game two in Chi-town like thieves in the night. That said this Hawk team is loaded, deep and hungry and the price on them may be as cheap as we can find.
