The Nuggets became just the 12th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit when they came back against the Utah Jazz in their first round victory.  They did the same thing again on September 15th, as they became the only team in NBA history to come back from two 3-1 deficits in the same postseason after coming from behind again against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Guard Jamal Murray has played exceptionally well, and the team is getting defensive contributions from Torrey Craig, and Jerami Grant.  Michael Porter JR. has shown his offensive prowess, and seemingly unblockable high-release jumper.  Nikola Jokic, the bud of many jokes on Twitter, and other social media outlets, continues to fill up the stat line with Points, Rebounds, and Assists.

The Nuggets are +400 underdogs for the series against the Lakers, who are widely considered to be the best defensive team in the NBA with the best Defensive Player in the World, Anthony Davis.

The two teams played 3 times over the regular season.  In those games the Lakers edged the Nuggets 2-1 with the following scores:

124-121 LA

120-116 LA

128-104 Denver
