Analysis:
Jannik Sinner will take on John Isner or Reilly Opelka, in these conditions he can feel pretty comfortable facing either player.
Conditions are slow but it’s the lower bounce indoors that Isner can struggle with, at 2.08m trying to defend/return serve in these conditions is difficult.
Isner hasn’t played since October, Sinner has recorded some excellent results in this period and he can feel confident of victory in front of his home crowd.
Sonego plays his best tennis indoors, he’s likely to face Opelka or Tiafoe, I believe it will be Tiafoe as Opelka is struggling for form and isn’t particularly comfortable with the low bouncing ball either.
