Shane Bieber finished the 60 game MLB season with an 8-1 record, 1.63 ERA, 122 strikeouts, and a 3.2 cumulative fWAR in 77 Innings Pitched.

He had 27 strikeouts after his first two starts of the 2020 season.  It tied the Major League Record.  Throughout much of the year he was considered to be “unhittable”.

The Indians won 10 of the 12 games Bieber took the mound in. Of those 12 games Beiber struck out at least 10 batters in 8 of them.

No other AL pitcher had 100 strikeouts, Giolito was the closest at 97, or over a 2.1 fWar.

He dominated Yankees Ace Gerrit Cole in nearly every statistical category.  Lance Lynn had an impressive season for the Rangers, with 6 wins 2 losses, a 2.53 ERA, and .96 WHIP, but it pales in comparison to Bieber.

Shane Bieber has the AL Cy Young locked up.  Can he win the MVP as well against teammates Jose Ramirez, and Jose Abreu of the Chicago White Sox?

I think he can, and will.
